The widget shows on some pages but not others

Almost always, this means the script tag was added to one page (often the home page) instead of to every page. The widget only runs where the script is present — it doesn't carry over to pages that don't have it.

The fix

Move the snippet into the one place your whole site shares — your global header or footer template — so every page loads it. The full walkthrough, with the right approach for your kind of site, is here:

→ Show the widget on every page

Quick version by site type:

  • CMS / site builder (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace…): add the snippet once in the site-wide header/footer or custom-code area — see your platform guide.
  • Hand-coded static site (separate .html files): add it to a shared header/footer include, or to each page if there's no shared template.
  • Single-page app (React/Vue): put it in the one shell HTML — see below.

If it's a single-page app

If the button loads on the first page but disappears after you navigate within the app, that's a different situation — see The widget disappears when I navigate my app.

Confirm the fix

Open several different pages (home, an interior page, a deep page) and confirm the button appears on each. If one page is still missing it, that page isn't loading the shared template you edited.
