How to fix common issues
Each violation in a scan result comes with fix guidance. Here's how to work through them.
Where the guidance is
- On the Accessibility page, open a violation group (issues are grouped by WCAG rule).
- Read the How to fix text for that rule — it describes the change to make.
- Expand the group to see the specific elements affected (each is identified by its location on the page), so you know exactly what to change.

How to prioritise
Fix in severity order — Critical first, then Serious, Moderate, Minor. Critical and serious issues have the biggest impact on real users of assistive technology.
After you make a change
The fix happens in your site's code or content — InclusifyX reports the issues; it doesn't edit your source. Once you've deployed a fix:
- Load the affected page on your site (the widget re-scans on page load).
- On the Accessibility page, click Refresh Scan Results to pull the latest report.
- The resolved issue drops out of the count.
Don't forget the manual-review items
The How to fix guidance covers detected violations. The separate manual-review items still need a human to check — they aren't auto-fixable because automation can't judge them. See Violations vs. manual-review items.
