Verify your domain
Before InclusifyX will serve the widget on a domain, you verify that you own it. Verification uses a meta tag on your homepage.
Steps
- Open the Domains page and add your domain if you haven't — see Add and manage domains.
- Open the domain and choose Verify. The dialog is titled Verify Domain Ownership.
- Copy the meta tag shown. It looks like:
``html <meta name="inclusifyx-verification" content="inclusifyx-verify-XXXXXXXX"> ``
- Paste it inside the
<head>of your homepage and publish the change. - Back in the dashboard, click Verify Domain.

When it succeeds, the domain status changes from Pending Verification to Verified, and your install snippet becomes available.
Notes
- The meta tag goes in the
<head>, the same global-template spot most platforms expose as "header code" or "code injection." If your platform has one, use it. - Leave the meta tag in place. Removing it can cause re-verification to fail later.
- Verification and the widget install are two separate tags. The meta tag proves ownership; the widget script actually loads the widget. You need both.
