Install with Google Tag Manager
If your site already runs Google Tag Manager (GTM), you can deliver the widget through a GTM tag. It then loads on every page that has your GTM container — which is usually all of them.
Verify your domain first: Verify your domain.
Steps
- In GTM, create a new tag of type Custom HTML.
- Paste your install snippet (from the Domains page Copy button) into the HTML box:
``html <script src="https://plugin.inclusifyx.com/v1/embed.js" data-site="YOUR-SITE-TOKEN" async defer></script> ``
- Set the trigger to All Pages.
- Save, then Submit / Publish the container.
⚠ confirm the current Custom HTML tag + All Pages trigger flow in the GTM UI
Google's own guide for Custom HTML tags: <https://support.google.com/tagmanager/answer/6107167>
Notes
- The widget loads only where the GTM container is installed. If some pages don't have GTM, add the snippet directly on those pages or in your global template.
- Copy the exact tag from your dashboard (including the
integrityattribute if your account shows one).
Confirm
Publish the container, open a couple of different pages, and check the accessibility button appears. The domain switches to Active in your dashboard after the first real page load. If it doesn't appear, see The widget isn't showing at all.
